The UTM Strategic Planning Development Workshop 2026-2030 Phase III, held on 11th September 2024 at Dewan Sri Perdana, UTM Johor Bahru, was chaired by Prof. Dr. Shamsul bin Sahibuddin, Chairman of the SP2030 Development Task Force. The workshop aimed to refine and finalize UTM’s key strategic objectives that will drive the university’s vision and mission through to 2030. Participants worked towards defining the desired state of UTM by setting measurable annual targets from 2026 to 2030. Building on the SWOT analysis conducted in previous workshops, the event focused on developing effective strategies to ensure UTM’s success by 2030.Â
