LPU Retreat UTM 2023 enVision UTM 2025
The LPU Retreat UTM 2023, held from 30 November to 2 December 2023 at Bangi Resort Hotel, brought together 88 participants, including members of the University Board of Directors and the secretariat. The retreat served as a strategic platform to deliberate on the direction and implementation of the enVision UTM 2025 Action Plan 2024. Through focused discussions and engagements, the Board provided valuable inputs and strategic guidance to strengthen planning, alignment, and execution, supporting UTM’s efforts to achieve its strategic aspirations under enVision UTM 2025.
Virtual Session Strategic Plan Town Hall
The Virtual Strategic Plan Town Hall 2023, held on 30 October 2023, served as a key engagement platform to discuss and refine the enVision UTM 2025 Action Plan 2024 (Moonshot 2.0). Conducted online, the session recorded participation from 559 UTM staff and students, reflecting strong institutional engagement. The Town Hall featured nine presentation sessions, which generated constructive discussions and valuable feedback that contributed directly to the refinement of the Action Plan.
The enVision UTM 2025 Action Plan 2024 is anchored on five Moonshot 2.0 themes, implemented across nine key departments, to ensure strategic alignment at both departmental and corporate levels. This approach supports UTM’s five Strategic Thrusts and eight Strategic Priorities, reinforcing the university’s overall strategic impact.

OSCA Internal Staff Training
The training aimed to enhance OSCA staff’s basic proficiency in using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications to support daily operational tasks. The programme focused on improving practical understanding, work efficiency, and overall organisational productivity.
Action Plan 2024 Confirmation Workshop
The enVision UTM 2025 Strategic Plan (2021–2025) entered its maturity phase in 2023 and required a strategic review to remain competitive at the national and global levels. As part of the preparation for enVision UTM 2025: Action Plan 2024, a series of workshops were conducted following the 2023 Management Retreat to refine and finalise the Key High Impact Results (Key HIRs) and Key Results (Corporate Niche Strategy).
Post Management Retreat Engagement
A follow-up engagement session conducted to refine strategic directions and action plans based on inputs and decisions from the Management Retreat, ensuring alignment, clarity, and effective implementation across departments.
Management Retreat UTM 2023
The retreat focused on refining departmental Key High Impact Results (Key HIRs), Corporate Key Results (KRs), and strategic risks under the enVision UTM 2025 Action Plan 2024, with feedback from the University’s top management. It also aimed to clearly detail departmental action plans and high-impact initiatives, leading to the preparation of the final draft of the Action Plan for endorsement by the UTM Board of Directors.
