Background

UTM Council of Professors  was constituted after getting an approval from UTM Executive Committee Meeting which was held on 6th November 2008. It is located at the third floor of Sultan Ibrahim Chancellery Administration Building.  

Focus

Council of Professors give focus on four main activities, which:-

• Engaging Knowledge
• “Cetusan Pemikiran”
• Johor Bahru Circle
• Intellectual Discourse

Others:

• To support scholarly development activities that encourage and stimulate academic excellence and intellectual growth in the university through ongoing programs.
• To serve as a bridge between the academic community and the university management.
• To cultivate a culture of knowledge and respect for scholarship within the university community to elevate academic stature.
• To assist in and coordinate the development of the university’s strategic research initiatives.
