He received his Ph.D in Instrumentation &amp; Electronics Engineering from Sheffield Hallam University, UK in 1996. At present he is a Professor and a Director of Research Management Centre, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. His current research interests are process tomography and sensor technology. He actively involved in R&amp;D and to date, he has filed 220 IPR including patent, copyrights, and industrial design. He has won many medals for his inventions and innovations at international and local research exhibition. He has also published more than 300 research articles in international journals and proceedings.
