The \u2018Female Faces & Malaysia Sustainable Cities\u2019 exhibits the outcome from UTM \u2013 MIT Malaysia Sustainable Cities Program (MSCP). It is a high impact joint collaboration effort between Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and Massachusetts Institute of Technology USA. The main agenda of MSCP is to study sustainable cities development efforts in Malaysia. In the process, the program captures the role of women as change agents in Malaysia\u2019s major cities. Thus the exhibition intends to disseminate the MSCP while honoring these Malaysian women. The exhibit also includes a variety of physical, auditory and immersive \u2018artifacts\u2019 interviews and video documentary on broad aspects of sustainability in Malaysian cities. It presents 75 works of field photography, 21 video interviews and 19 research documentaries as the findings of MSCP program under one roof. The first exhibition entitled \u2018Female Faces in Sustainable Places\u2019 was first held in the Wolk Gallery, Massachusetts Institute of Technology USA on April 30 \u2013 July 31, 2015. The current exhibition in Balai Seni Visual Negara, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is a reciprocal arrangement that further includes the history of the collaboration program and findings from the international scholars.<\/p>\n
