Prof. Dr. Adi Setia Md Dom"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Associate Prof. Dr. Adi Setia Md Dom<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Associate Prof. Dr. Adi Setia Md Dom<\/strong> is currently a Lecturer in History and Philosophy of Science at the Department of General Studies, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), since 2002. He is also an Allied Researcher at the Institute for Mathematics Research Malaysia (INSPEM) and General Consultant for Canadian and Pakistani project Based Integrated Encyclopedia of the Qur&#8217;an (IEQ). Prior to that he was a Research Fellow for several years at the International Institute of Islamic Thought and Civilisation (ISTAC, 1993-2003) during the directorship of its Founder, Profesor Dr. Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas. He joined the Kulliyyah of Science in 2004 and then the Department of General Studies, IIUM. Before joining the academia he received education at Pondok Lanai, Kedah (under the tutelage of Almarhum Tuan Guru Haji Umar Zuhdi) and at Pondok Pasir Tumboh, Kelantan, (under the tutelage of Tuan Guru Haji Hashim Abu Bakar).
